PACER Award to Honor Rental Industry Professionals

All too often the dedication of the professionals within equipment and general tool rental companies goes unnoticed. In an effort to celebrate those making a change, ForConstructionPros.com would like to acknowledge the hard work, diligence, and creativity in solving today’s challenges.

ForConstructionPros.com launched the PACER award to recognize the accomplishments of the pros on the jobsite, those in the office, as well as the professionals of the equipment and general tool rental industry in shaping construction as we know it today. Enter or nominate someone deserving of recognition through ForConstructionPros.com's PACER award. 

To be eligible for the PACER (Pavement, Asphalt, Concrete, Equipment, Rental) Award, managed by ForConstructionPros.com and its affiliate brands — Equipment Today, Asphalt Contractor, Rental, Concrete Contractor and Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction — nominees must work in either the heavy construction, asphalt, concrete, pavement maintenance and/or rental industries.

• Nominations can come from co-workers, PR/marketing firms/agencies, suppliers, vendors, customers, end users, manufacturers, dealers, contractors, distributors and/or the companies themselves.
• Workers, contractors and owner/operators can self-nominate.
• PR/marketing firms can nominate more than one client.

This award is broken down into four categories:

• Women in Construction: Honors the women within the construction and equipment and general tool rental industry, whose accomplishments, mentorship, and examples set a foundation for all women in all levels of a company’s network.
• Rising Professionals in Construction: Recognizes outstanding young or newer professionals whose achievements, hard work, and vision have shaped the construction network. Rising/emerging professionals must maintain 1-9 years of experience in the construction or equipment/general tool rental industry.
• Lifetime Achievement: Honors the contractors, workers, and owner/operators who’ve made outstanding contributions to the construction and rental industry. Must have at least 10 years of documented accomplishments in construction.
• Jobsite Excellence: Recognizes the outstanding workers on the jobsite or rental company whose leadership and work ethic set a strong example companywide.

The PACER Award is the first award specific to the ForConstructionPros brand and the first industry executive-focused award for the Construction Network.

"This award was created out of the passion and devotion to honor and celebrate the individuals doing the work. We, here at For Construction Pros, host several awards geared toward new products or even contractors, but nothing geared specifically to the people out on the field or behind the desk, doing the work. This award ensures that veterans to the industry, women in construction and young professionals are being recognized for their achievements," said Marina Mayer, content director of IRONMARKETS, which owns ForConstructionPros.com and its affiliate brands, Equipment Today; Asphalt Contractor; Rental; Concrete Contractor; and Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction.
