Mack Trucks has announced it will discontinue its Titan model and 16 L MP10 engine. According to the company, many of the applications these products are used in can be served by Mack Pinnacle and Granite models featuring the higher horsepower and torque outputs of the Mack MP8 13 L engine.
While this decision is to take effective immediately, Mack Trucks says it will complete current unfilled orders for the Titan, as well as continue to provide aftermarket support.
This announcement came in conjunction with sister company Volvo Trucks North American announcing discontinuation of its 16 L D16 engine and VNX tractor.
