A bill filed in the U.S. House last week would, if passed, require the U.S. DOT to perform a study to determine how many drivers, including both company drivers and leased owner-operators, quit the industry over the electronic logging device mandate.

H.R. 6159, introduced by North Dakota Rep. Kevin Cramer, was filed June 20 with no co-sponsors into the House’s Transportation Committee.
