Contaminated chassis control module could cause an electrical short and the engine to stall at unpredictable times

General Motors is recalling approximately 3,500 2014 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana full-size vans and Chevrolet Silverado 2500/3500 and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 Heavy Duty pickups.

A contaminated chassis control module could cause an electrical short and the engine to stall at unpredictable times, affecting the trailer brake controls.

The new engine being offered is a Cummins B6.7 with up to 325 hp. The new rear axle is designed for a Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) of up to 23,000 lbs.
