Ford launched the Omnicraft brand of replacement parts for all vehicles makes so non-Ford customers can buy parts and have their vehicles serviced at Ford dealerships. Frederiek Toney, president of Global Ford Customer Service Division, told The Detroit News that Ford wants to grow its parts business 30% to 40% over the next five years.

The 1,500 most-commonly requested parts are now available and include oil filters, brake pads and rotors, loaded struts, and starters and alternators. The list of available parts will eventually grow to 10,000.

Toney said Ford will work with suppliers to have Omnicraft parts produced, but they will carry the same 24-month warranty offered by Ford’s Motorcraft brand.

Omnicraft is the first new brand for Ford’s Customer Service Division in 50 years.

At launch, Omnicraft parts will be available at Ford and Lincoln dealerships and will roll out to other Ford Authorized Distributors throughout 2017.
