IL Governor Suspends Planning, Development of All Major Interstate Projects

Governor issued executive order to suspend projects for a review of costs and benefits, including the planned Illiana Expressway

In order to carefully review the costs and benefits, Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner has issued an executive order that suspends planning and development of any major interstate construction projects, including the Illiana Expressway. It is unclear how long this review may take.
