IL Governor Unveils 6-Year, $11b Infrastructure Proposal

New approach won't just focus on worst roads around the state but take preventative measures to prevent other roads from reaching the same status

Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner has proposed a 6-year, $11 billion infrastructure plan to repair the state's roads and bridges. The Governor and the Illinois Department of Transportation want to take a new approach that doesn't only focus on repairing the worst roads but also takes preventative measures to make sure other roads in the state do not reach the same status.
