Pci 20logoThe Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) released the 2025 PCI Regionalized Industry Average Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for architectural, insulated, and structural precast concrete products.

These EPDs, based on data collected from 62 PCI producer plants, provide transparent, third-party verified data on the environmental impacts of precast concrete products, tailored to reflect data for all PCI regions across the U.S. The regionalized EPDs support the precast concrete industry's commitment to sustainability and transparency, enhancing PCI member competitiveness in markets increasingly focused on environmental performance.

Thomas Ketron, PCI’s director of sustainability:

The publication of PCI’s regionalized industry average EPDs marks a major step forward in our commitment to sustainability and transparency. These tools empower producers, designers, and decision-makers with credible, region-specific data to support lower-carbon solutions and informed choices. PCI is proud to lead with clarity and collaboration, supporting our members and the broader construction industry in building a more resilient future.
