NY Construction Company Guilty of Wage Theft

Stonehenge Restoration stole nearly $80,000 from its workers between January 2014 and March 2015

New York Daily News

Developers Sulajman Koci and Witold Matejkowski, owners of Stonehenge Restoration, failed to pay 21 laborers $76,429 between January 2014 and March 2015, according to state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Stonehenge will now have to pay all the back wages plus extra for "liquidated damages" by August 31. Two employees will receive $6,000 while the others will receive between $2,500 to $4,000. Stonehenge's owners also agreed to an internal monitor and will have to submit compliance reports to Schneiderman.
