MotionOps has acquired Emitto, an international communications technology company focused on business messaging and customer engagement.
The acquisition will support MotionOps’ development of communication tools for field service businesses, including customer updates related to jobs, proposals, scheduling, payments and field activity.
MotionOps has expanded its email and SMS capabilities to allow businesses to send proposals, invoices, change orders, reminders, payment follow-ups, customer portal links and “On My Way” updates from desktop and mobile devices. Emitto’s technology will also support the company’s work on automated notifications, transactional messaging and message delivery visibility.
The acquisition is part of MotionOps’ strategy to integrate customer communication more closely with field service workflows, from initial proposals through scheduling, service delivery, invoicing and follow-up.
