PRYME has expanded its partnership with PositionPTT to deliver integrated push-to-talk over cellular (PoC) communication solutions for businesses, including construction fleets and field operations.
The partnership combines PositionPTT's nationwide PoC radios, mobile app and dispatch platform with PRYME's headsets, speaker microphones and push-to-talk accessories to support hands-free communication and help meet DOT distracted-driving requirements.
The integrated system operates over nationwide cellular networks and includes GPS tracking, desktop dispatch software and communication between handheld radios, in-vehicle devices and smartphones.
According to the companies, the solution is being used across industries including construction, transportation, waste management, security and distribution to improve communication and worker safety.
