Construction Workers Caught Drinking at Lunch Draw Calls for Mandatory Testing

Lawmakers, officials and even the Department of Buildings is calling for mandatory alcohol and drug testing.

Mandatory drug and alcohol testing is a collective bargaining issue, according to the Building Trades Employers' Association, which requires negotiation. However, the association is hoping to work with the New York City city council and the buildings department to make mandatory testing the law.
