New startup SmartSite has introduced a combination of hardware and cloud-based software that monitors noise levels, airborne particulates and UV rays to track what construction industry workers are exposed to and take measures to protect them.
SmartSite systems monitor conditions using a microphone, laser particle counters and UV sensors while the proprietary software allows construction teams to quickly see if workers may be at risk on a jobsite.
SmartSite is currently running pilot test with some construction industry businesses.
