Michael D. Love, CPA, President and CEO of Gateway Safety, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA), the association for personal protective equipment and technologies. Elections took place on April 30, 2012, at ISEA’s Executive Summit, the association’s annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas.
"Maintaining high quality standards for industrial safety products is crucial to ensuring the safety and well-being of our workforce," says Love. "As we see more low-end products introduced to the market, I look forward to working with ISEA on current issues related to implementing stronger, more enforceable product standards."
Love began his career as a CPA with Price Waterhouse and has held various executive leadership roles, including chief operating officer of Optate, Inc. and president of the Evanston Group. He has taught management development and accounting courses at the corporate and undergraduate levels, respectively. Love earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s degree with distinction from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
