Designed to support emerging professionals in the concrete and construction industry, the American Concrete Institute (ACI) launched a six-month mentorship program called "ACI Career Connections." This initiative will connect professionals aged 35 and under with experienced industry leaders to help them navigate ACI, build meaningful relationships, and develop their careers. ACI is currently seeking both mentors and mentees for the program

The ACI Spring Concrete Convention runs for March 29-April 1, in Toronto, ON, Canada. Individuals not attending the convention, can sign up online from March 21-April 14.

The program will be seeking mentees - those emerging professionals ages 35 and under who are working in concrete or construction-related fields based in the USA/Canada. Students and educators are not eligible to apply.

Mentors will consist of industry professionals or educators with 8+ years of experience who are actively involved in ACI Committees and based in the USA/Canada.

The duration of the mentoreship is currently scheduled for May to October (6 months) and will feature structured guidance, collaboration, and networking opportunities.

By fostering professional development and leadership, ACI Career Connections aims to strengthen the next generation of industry leaders while reinforcing ACI’s commitment to education and career growth.

For more information, or to sign up as a mentor or mentee, please contact Kanette Worlds, ACI Staff Liaison, Student and Young Professional Activities Committee (SYPAC).
