Transportation Committee Lawmakers May Oppose Maine Budget Bill

Threaten to vote against state general fund budget that leaves out road and bridge repairs

Gov. Paul LePage had proposed $20 million from general revenues for to fund highway programs. He reduced that to $10 million, and that was eliminated by the Appropriations Committee.
