AR Awards $1.8 Million for Recreational Trails

The Arkansas State Highway Commission has awarded about $1.8 million in funding to applicants for Recreational Trails Program projects. Arkansas Highway and Transportation acting director Scott Bennett says the agency received 38 applications requesting more than $3 million. Thirty-one projects will receive the money.
