FARMINGTON HILLS, MI - The American Concrete Institute (ACI) is pleased to announce that its Distinguished Achievement Award will be presented to Boh Brothers Construction Company at the ACI Fall 2009 Convention in New Orleans.
During the convention's opening session on Sunday, Nov. 8, at 5:15 p.m., Robert S. Boh, president of Boh Brothers Construction, will be presented with the award, which is given to ACI nonmembers who have made notable contributions to the advancement of the concrete industry. Founded in 1909, this family-owned company has been serving its community and customers with heavy construction projects throughout the Gulf South. In 2005, during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, when over 80 percent of the company's employees were displaced from their homes, Boh Brothers Construction was able to mobilize personnel and equipment within hours of learning of the breeches in the levee system. This prompt and professional response is indicative of the quality and professionalism that Boh Brothers Construction brings to every project.
Boh Brothers Construction has also been the recipient of several ACI Louisiana Chapter awards, and its clients include private and industrial customers, as well as state, federal, and local public entities. More information about Boh Brothers Construction can be found at www.bohbros.com.
