ProAll, a Canadian mobile volumetric concrete mixing technology manufacturer, will debut its L20R lightweight concrete mixer at World of Concrete 2026 (Booth C5176) in Las Vegas from January 20-22. The mixer's gross vehicle weight rating under 25,950 pounds allows operators to transport it with standard pickup trucks without requiring a commercial driver's license, subject to local weight regulations.

The L20R targets small- to mid-sized concrete producers and contractors facing CDL-qualified operator shortages. Despite its lighter weight, the unit delivers professional-grade concrete output meeting Volumetric Mixer Manufacturers Bureau standards.

Key features include intuitive controls for accurate mix specifications, flexible brake options and compatibility with skid steer loaders for aggregate loading. The mixer also offers bag-fill capability, eliminating the need for silos for smaller producers.

ProAll will offer the L20R with multiple chassis options, including both company-supplied and customer-supplied configurations. Standard equipment includes a 100-gallon water tank, aggregate and cement bin vibrators, manual mesh tarp, swivel chute and aluminum chute. Optional features include admixture dosing and environmental capture bags.

The introduction comes as construction companies nationwide struggle with driver shortages and CDL requirements. By designing equipment that operates below federal weight thresholds, manufacturers like ProAll provide contractors with more flexible staffing options while maintaining production capabilities.

The L20R represents a growing trend toward lighter, more versatile concrete equipment that addresses both regulatory requirements and workforce challenges facing the construction industry.
