Maxon Industries announces it has manufactured its 1,000th Agitor at its factory in Milwaukee, WI, delivering it to the paving contractor, Zignego Construction. The Agitor is the only unit that incorporates an open-top concrete haul body for rapid loading from a central mix batch plant; an Agitator shaft to ensure quality concrete with every load transported; and various chute options to meter concrete to buckets and pump hoppers or large paving chutes to place direct to grade as fast as a dump truck.

“The Agitor has had a proud history delivering concrete to projects across the globe and we are excited to have our 1,000th machine go to a contractor with an excellent history and reputation like Zignego,” commented Bill Maxon, President, Maxon Industries, Inc. “It has been an exciting and busy past 12 months. We have supplied units to a number of high-profile projects worldwide including 36 truck-mounted Agitors to Panama for construction of the third lane for the Panama Canal.”

Recent Agitor product improvements include new hydraulic valves, side-mounted operator’s ladders for easier inspection/washdown, and adjustable agitator shafts that can handle any concrete mix design, from zero slump/large aggregate concrete to SCC and grout mixes.
