Epoxy Interest Group of the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute Announces Pete Fosnough as Managing Director

Fosnough will be responsible for all operations of the Epoxy Interest Group of the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute, promoting the interests and advantages of epoxy-coated reinforcing steel to the user community.

The Epoxy Interest Group is pleased to announce that Pete Fosnough has accepted the position of the Managing Director. Fosnough will be responsible for all operations of the Epoxy Interest Group of the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute, promoting the interests and advantages of epoxy-coated reinforcing steel to the user community. Departments of Transportation, developing and implementing strategy relating to market development of epoxy-coated reinforcing steel including representation on national technical committees such as CRSI, ACI, and ASTM, development of print and digital publications including newsletters and advertising materials, websites, and representation at trade shows will be focal points.

Simmet, Epoxy Interest Group Steering Committee Chairman, states. “Pete brings experience and expertise to the standards process, coating and fabrication processes, and overall industry. He knows everyone in our group and will get EIG up to speed quickly.”

Prior to joining CRSI, Fosnough was with member company Harris Rebar, Auburn, Ind. He managed the installation and start-up of Harris Rebar’s Bourbonnais epoxy coating operation, followed by support of sustainability, codes, and standards initiatives for industry technical committees. Pete comes to the EIG with over 25 years in automotive, space and defense, contract and rebar manufacturing experience. Pete has a MSM in Operations and Strategic Management from Purdue University and a BA in Computer Science/Mathematics from DePauw University.
