Extracker, the platform that standardizes change orders between multiple project management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) products used by general contractors and subcontractors, today announced an integration with Sage 100 Contractor, which is used by small to medium-sized construction contractors.

“A key part of streamlining the manual and time-consuming change order process is eliminating manual workflows and aligning subcontractors with their general contractors to know what is outstanding,” said Cameron Page, founder and CEO of Extracker. “With this integration, Extracker provides instant visibility of change order costs and exposed risk from the field to the back office and accounting teams that use Sage 100.”

Extracker, launched in 2018, enables contractors to seamlessly share a change order register and time and material tags in real-time with their project partners up and down the value chain. While the format for data exchange by Extracker is not proprietary, the software provides a common digital utility and shareable links that provide the far-flung, inter-company project team with a single version of the truth.

Powering the integration is Ryvit’s integration platform-as-a-service (iPaaS) that helps solution providers and project stakeholders get more from their tech stacks so they can produce more efficiently, more safely, more profitably, and more imaginatively than ever before. By leveraging Ryvit’s iPaaS to build a robust integration profile around core tools, solution providers can get integrations to market faster. These integrations can then make easier and more expedient to achieve operability with other construction software products on the Ryvit iPaaS.

This integration allows subcontractors to create and synchronize change order data created in Extracker directly with Sage 100 Contractor, which was sold as Master Builder before being acquired by Sage in 2006. Sage 100 Contractor is sold most frequently as a cloud hosted solution and is sold primarily to contractors with less than $20 million in revenue, making it the Sage solution for smaller companies.

Sage 100 Contractor has broad functionality from the general ledger through to payroll, project management, equipment management, estimating, scheduling, service receivables, inventory and reporting.
