Command Post announced the release of Command Post Notes, a new mobile daily reporting application, during World of Concrete 2026. The app is the latest field documentation platform developed by company founder Peter Lasensky, whose work has influenced digital jobsite reporting for more than two decades.
Command Post Notes is designed for use directly at the workface, allowing crews to document site conditions and events as they occur rather than hours later from trailers or offices. The company said the approach results in significantly more contemporaneous field records compared with traditional daily reporting methods.
A key feature of the app is built-in multilingual reporting. Workers can speak or type entries in their native language, which are automatically translated into English while preserving the original text. The goal is to improve accuracy, clarity and participation on jobsites with multilingual crews.
The app creates time-stamped daily reports intended to support project documentation, change management and dispute resolution by capturing jobsite activity in real time.
