The CONEXPO announcements continue to rapidly pour in, as the largest trade show in North America draws closer each day. This afternoon, Trimble announced that their plans for the show are focused on these three items: Connected construction, compact machines, and environmental sustainability.

Between March 14-18 in Las Vega, the experts from their company will be on hand providing technology demonstrations, go over customer questions, and offer in depth discussions on their available solutions that aims to provide contractors, "the right insights at the right time to make the right decisions."

If you're planning to be at the show, and have questions about Trimble and their offerings, attendees are encouraged to visit the company at their booth #W41522 in the West Hall. They intend to highlight the following points:

  • A new purpose-built machine guidance solution designed to be versatile, portable and easy to use.
  • The Trimble Earthworks Machine Control platform, and specifically the Trimble Earthworks for Soil Compactors – Horizontal Steering Control technology.
  • Trimble will also be sharing the results of a recent study that sets a standard for expected reduction in greenhouse gas emissions through semi-autonomous compaction operations.
  • Trimble ERP, estimating, and project management solutions, including Viewpoint, ProjectSight, and the recently-acquired B2W software solution.
  • Trimble solutions in robotics, including live demos of Spot, the Boston Dynamics robot dog, equipped with the Trimble X7 Laser Scanner. Trimble has broken new ground on development with Boston Dynamics' Spot robot by integrating hardware and software to provide a completely autonomous laser scanning solution for progress tracking.

Trimble has made big moves recently, like the acquisition of B2W, and their CONEXPO plans seem to indicate they have no plans of slowing down.
