STACK Construction Technologies has introduced STACK IQ, an AI capability designed to help users complete takeoff, estimating and other preconstruction tasks using plain-language prompts.
STACK IQ connects the platform with AI models including Claude and ChatGPT, allowing users to interact with project data through natural-language requests rather than manually navigating menus.
Potential applications include creating takeoff libraries from spreadsheets, reviewing estimates for missing items, generating proposals, setting up projects from emails and connecting STACK with tools such as Outlook, Excel and Monday.com.
The tool was developed in response to customer requests for ways to reduce repetitive preconstruction tasks, including building takeoff libraries and reformatting proposals.
