For 16 years, Equipment Today's Contractors’ Top 50 New Products Award has served as the voice of the industry, representing your equipment priorities and preferences when it comes to exploring new market offerings.
The annual Contractors’ Top 50 New Products Award is designed to recognize the best new product introductions and enhancements throughout the construction industry, covering products released within a one-year period.
Working from a defined set of eligibility criteria, and based on nominations and page view data of new products featured with Equipment Today and other channels on ForConstructionPros.com from April 2025 to April 2026, our editorial team follows audience insights to identify the year’s top picks, exhibiting innovation, quality, efficiency and productivity in the commercial construction environment.
Among this year’s contenders, 84% of nominations offered new product releases, while 16% provided enhancements to already existing products.
Across the board, these products aim to serve contractors across several of the following key areas of the construction industry: highway and construction contractors (80%); general building construction (72%); distributors and dealers (54%); electrical, demolition, mechanical, masonry/stonework contractors (49%); construction material producers and utilities power co-ops (40%); as well as others allied to the industry (22%).
As construction work continues to evolve alongside today’s changing jobsite, so do the products helping contractors to complete that work. Increasing productivity and improving project outcomes are top priorities for today’s construction teams. This year’s winning products aim to assist contractors in not only meeting, but, in many cases, exceeding their goals. Equipment Today is proud to congratulate the recipients of the 2026 Contractors’ Top 50 New Products Award and their contributions to driving more successful projects.

The new EC3200 Aluminum Electric Service Crane has introduced a nested boom design, which replaced the stacked boom design in previous models, allowing for up to 130 pounds of reduced weight.
The Stellar EC3200 Electric Service Crane is available in both steel and aluminum. Both models combine the lifting power you need with the economy you want. You'll handle a wide range of lifting needs, and you won't have to spend valuable time and money refueling. Because the EC3200 doesn't require a pump, operation is significantly quieter than hydraulic cranes so you can work at times and in locations where reduced noise is essential.
