DPL Telematics has released the ClearView Smart Dashcam, a new device that integrates real-time video monitoring, GPS tracking, and artificial intelligence to support fleet safety and management.
The dashcam records high-definition video while providing AI-powered driver assistance and real-time alerts for harsh braking, speeding, and collision risks. It also monitors distractions, drowsiness, and seatbelt use. Designed to help fleets combat staged accidents and fraudulent insurance claims, the system offers both live-streaming access and dual data storage.
The device doubles as a GPS tracker, allowing fleets to manage vehicles through the DPL Telematics platform without additional hardware. Available with inward- and rear-facing camera options, the ClearView is designed for quick installation via hardwire or OBDII connection.
