Brokk, a manufacturer of remote-controlled demolition machines, offers the Brokk 110. The electric-powered machine has a power-to-weight ratio designed for heavy-duty demolition. The Brokk 110 also features SmartPower, a power management system for Brokk customers working on harsh jobsites in industries such as construction, metal processing, mining and nuclear.

“The Brokk 110 represents 45 years of constant innovation at Brokk,” said Jeff Keeling, Brokk’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Its SmartPower system offers customers heightened reliability and durability to ensure increased productivity and safety on the jobsite.”

At 31 in. wide and 2,183 lbs. (990 kg), the machine and its attachments fit through standard doors and inside passenger elevators. With its low floor load, the Brokk 110 is able to maneuver through inaccessible areas, such as stairwells or elevators. Its compact size is ideal for a variety of applications, from top-down demolition and interior strip-outs to selective concrete removal. The machine features a 10-ft. (3 m) reach, providing a power-to-weight ratio designed for work in restricted spaces and on weak floors.

Brokk’s SmartConcept system is applicable to operators. SmartConcept consists of three features: SmartPower, SmartDesign and SmartRemote. The intelligent electrical system, SmartPower, offers performance based on a number of factors, including power supply quality and ambient temperature, for uptime. The system can sense when a power supply is poor or faulty, making it suitable for generators or power supplies. SmartDesign extends machine life and supports maintenance due to 70% fewer cables as well as hardened components, LED headlights and accessible grease points and hydraulic hoses. A remote-control box, the SmartRemote, incorporates adjustable straps, intuitive controls and professional-grade radio technology with a 984-ft. (300 m) working range.

The Brokk 110 also features hardened parts, LED headlight protection, reinforced corners and a steel gray color coating in strategic areas to ensure resistance from dirt and scratches.

To maximize service life, the Brokk 110 and all other models are compatible with Brokk Connect 2.0, an online platform used for control and care with information about every activity and service requirement. The Brokk 110 is also compatible with a wide range of attachments, including breakers, crushers, grapples, rock drills and shears.
