During an event last week at its Customer Center in Eskilstuna, Sweden, Volvo Construction Equipment unveiled the LX1 prototype electric hybrid wheel loader. This super-quiet machine is designed to deliver up to a 50% fuel efficiency improvement. It is scheduled to go out on field test shortly.
