LiuGong North America has commercially launched its battery-electric construction and material handling equipment lineup in North America, expanding access to electric machines already deployed in global markets.
The initial lineup includes the 856HE battery-electric wheel loader, 820TE battery-electric loader, 924FE battery-electric excavator, LRSE4531E electric reach stacker, as well as electric forklifts and warehouse equipment. Additional models are expected through 2027.
According to LiuGong, the platform is supported by more than 60,000 battery-electric machines operating worldwide. The company says one of its battery-electric wheel loaders has exceeded 20,000 operating hours in production service.
LiuGong says its battery-electric equipment is designed to reduce operating and maintenance costs compared to diesel-powered machines. The machines feature a liquid-cooled battery management system that monitors battery health, charging and thermal performance to help maximize uptime.
