In early 2019, DEUTZ entered into a memorandum of understanding with Kukje Machinery Co., with the mutual intent for both parties to sign a long-term agreement for two new models, the D1.2 and the D1.7. Both will be DEUTZ branded and fully supported by the company's service network
The D1.2 engine falls in the under-25-hp range and is designed to efficiently power machines like aerial platforms, welders, trenching equipment, mini skid-steer loaders and other applications. It is a naturally aspirated, three-cylinder configurations offered in a 1.2L displacement with output ratings of up to 25 hp. It can also be utilized with the company’s new E-DEUTZ products, providing customers with complete hybrid packages that are more efficient and environmentally friendly.
