Morbark's 3400XT Wood Hog horizontal grinder has a standard width of 8 ft. 4 in. making it within the legal transport width no matter what engine is used.

  • Accommodates engines from 540 to 800 hp
  • Available with electric power
  • Infeed bed is an additional 24 in. longer with sloped sides
  • Removable infeed chain return floor
  • Variable-speed infeed system consists of one 34-in. diameter top compression feed roll
  • Direct-driven internal planetary drive with no chains or sprockets
  • Four strands of wDH-120 chain in a staggered configuration
  • Morbark exclusive driveline protection system standard
  • Externally adjustable, break-away torque limiter protects driveline and hammermill
  • Available with Strickland or CAT undercarriage options
  • Can be manufactured in a trailer or stationary untit
  • Remote-mounted radiator and oil cooler with independent reversing fans
  • Morbark Integrated Control System allows operator to automatically adjust feed rates and monitor pressures and feed wheel position
  • 11-hp air compressor 
  • Self-contained rod puller for changing rods in the hammermill
  • Magnetized end pulley with collecting slide tray for removal of ferrous metals
