Metabo HPT has announced the newest addition to its cordless lineup, the 18V MultiVolt Cordless Brushless Impact Driver (model WH18DEX). At 4.72-in. in length and 2-lbs., this impact driver has the power to drive screws and bolts and can do so in tight spaces.
This cordless impact driver is part of the expanding MultiVolt System of 18V and 36V power tools from Metabo HPT. The user can go lighter by using the included compact 18V battery or go longer with a flexible 18V-36V MultiVolt battery (sold separately) to increase runtime per charge for more power on the go.
The driver delivers up to 1,549-in.-lbs. of torque, 3,100 RPM and 3,400 impacts per minute to tackle applications like tightening and loosening carriage bolts, driving lags and sinking structural screws. It comes with two new Metabo HPT 18V 2.0Ah lithium-ion batteries with battery charge indicators, model BSL1820M (377797M). This tool also features a built-in LED light that illuminates dark workspaces.
The impact driver has a metal belt hook that can be moved to either side of the tool for user preference. The ¼-in. hex chuck facilitates bit replacement, and the responsive variable speed trigger provides the user with the appropriate amount of power for the application.
The WH18DEX comes with two 18V 2.0Ah batteries with charge indicators (377797M), a charger (UC18YKSL) and carrying bag.
