Makita U.S.A. has introduced the 40V max XGT 3-Speed 1/2-inch Driver-Drill (GFD03), a cordless tool designed for heavy-duty drilling and fastening applications.
The driver-drill delivers up to 1,590 inch-pounds of max torque with a brushless motor and three-speed transmission. Speed settings range from 0-650, 0-1,800 and 0-2,400 rpm, allowing users to match performance to the application.
The tool also features an electronic digital clutch with multiple torque settings for fastening, a reinforced gear housing and an all-metal chuck for added durability on the jobsite.
Additional features include a base-mounted LED work light, a variable-speed trigger and a redesigned side handle to improve control during high-torque applications.
