STIHL has introduced ALLPRO, a new professional battery system designed for forestry, landscaping and municipal applications. The platform replaces the company's AP battery system while remaining compatible with existing AP tools and chargers.
The ALLPRO lineup includes four new batteries featuring tabless cell technology, which improves power output, reduces heat buildup and shortens charging times.
Compared to the previous AP 300 S battery, the new AP 300 P delivers 60% more peak power, 20% longer runtime and up to twice the service life, with as many as 3,000 charge cycles, according to STIHL.
The batteries can recharge to 80% in less than 10 minutes when paired with the STIHL AL 1602 MO mobile fast charger. ALLPRO batteries also feature an IPX5 water-resistance rating for use in demanding jobsite conditions.
