The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) announced today the winners and finalists for its 2012 Community Involvement Award. The companies were recognized at a special ceremony during the association’s Midyear Meeting in Boston.
NAPA presents its Community Involvement Award to asphalt companies that act as good neighbors and corporate citizens, serving their communities through outstanding programs and projects.
The winners of the 2012 Community Involvement Award were MeadWestvaco Corp. (MWV) of North Charleston, S.C., and Tilcon New York Inc., an Oldcastle Materials Co., of Wharton, N.J.
Finalists included Barrett Paving Materials Inc. of Watertown, N.Y.; Granite Construction Co. of Sparks, Nev.; Lakeside Industries of Port Angeles, Wash.; and Staker Parson Cos., an Oldcastle Materials Co., of Ogden, Utah.
