Southeastern Equipment Announces Personnel Additions

The company has added four new sales representatives and an environmental products specialist

Dan Depinet has joined Southeastern Equipment Company as the environmental products specialist for Indiana. Depinet is selling Vacall, Schwarze and Aries equipment throughout the state. Depinet has extensive experience with many types of equipment used in environmental applications. He was employed at a municipality waste plant for 15 years and worked on a sewer cleaning team for the City of Noblesville, Ind. for several years as a Class 3 operator and crew leader. Depinet grew up in central Indiana and currently lives in Tipton, Ind. In his spare time he enjoys cycling and camping with his family. He and his wife have an 11 year old daughter and a 14 year old son.

The company has also added four new sales represntatives. Wes Montgomery has been promoted to sales representative at the Gallipolis, Ohio location. Montgomery is selling the full line of equipment throughout Meigs County and handles product support in Gallia, Lawrence and Jackson Counties. Prior to joining Southeastern Equipment, Montgomery was a parts delivery driver for two years. Montgomery was a parts associate for a year before his recent promotion. He has completed several diesel mechanical classes at the Buckeye Hills Career Center. In his spare time he enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, hunting and riding ATVs.

Josh Ritter has been promoted to sales representative at the Evansville, Ind. location. Ritter is selling the full line of equipment in Kentucky, and most of the brands in Evansville. Prior to working at Southeastern, Ritter worked at a remanufacturing facility for a construction equipment company, rebuilding motors. His first position at Southeastern Equipment was as a mechanic for rental equipment at the Indianapolis branch. Ritter attended Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis where he studied motorsports engineering. While growing up, he raced four-wheelers and was sponsored by Yamaha from the time he was 14 years old. He has also served as a volunteer firefighter, starting in the junior program before moving into EMT and firefighter 1 and 2 roles. He still enjoys spending his free time riding four-wheelers, dirt bikes and jet skis. He currently lives in Franklin, Ind. with his fiancé.

Doug Kyle has joined the company as sales representative at the Indianapolis, Ind. location. Kyle is selling Kobelco, Bomag and Kubota equipment throughout Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Clark, Clay, Clinton, Decatur, Floyd, Fountain, Hendricks, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Johnson, Lawrence, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Scott, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, Vigo, Warren, and Washington counties. Before joining Southeastern Equipment, Kyle was a self-employed trader. He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Kyle has lived in Fishers, Ind., for the past 14 years and grew up just east of Indianapolis. In his free time he enjoys cycling and watersports.

Michael Thoma has joined the company as sales representative at the Mansfield, Ohio location. Thoma is selling CASE, Kobelco and Bomag equipment throughout Richland, Ashland, Knox, Crawford, Marion, Wyandot and Morrow counties. Before joining Southeastern Equipment, Thoma was a sales associate for Superior Beverage Corporation. He has also managed the maintenance needs for 1,500 Big Lots retail stores. Thoma lives in Ontario, a suburb of Mansfield, where he was born. He graduated from Ontario High School, and in his free time enjoys hunting pheasants, fishing and rooting on the Ohio State Buckeyes.
