Komatsu has expanded its footprint in the Southwestern United States by transitioning ownership of six Core Machinery dealerships into its company-owned network. The move aligns with Komatsu’s broader mining strategy and adds new locations across Arizona and California.

The six locations include three in California — Bakersfield, Mojave and Perris — and three in Arizona — Prescott, Phoenix and Tucson. These sites will now operate as Komatsu-owned dealers, offering mining equipment, parts and services directly through the company.

The transaction officially closed on June 9, 2025, marking a significant expansion of Komatsu’s dealer territory to include all of Arizona and Southern California. Komatsu’s existing mining facility in Mesa, Arizona, has long served customers in the region, and this acquisition further strengthens its ability to support mining operations throughout the Southwest.

With the addition of these locations, Komatsu aims to streamline operations and increase accessibility for businesses that have been active in the mining sector for years, while also positioning the company for continued growth in the region.
