Senate Budget Committee Advances Tax Bill

Voting along party lines, the Senate Budget Committee advanced the tax overhaul bill earlier this week.

The tax bill goes to the full Senate for consideration later this week.

“I think we’re going to get it passed,” President Trump said at the White House. “It’s going to have lots of adjustments before it ends, but the end result will be a very, very massive — the largest in the history of our country — tax cut.”
