Bronto Skylift will be showing and demonstrating its model SI-197 HDT insulated aerial and the new S-173 XDT with Bronto Skylift +4 operating system in Booth N2054 at the ICUEE show on September 29 to October 1, 2015 in Louisville, KY.
Mounted on a TOR 8X6 all-wheel-steer chassis, the SI-197 HDT is an insulated aerial capable of barehand work on power lines up to 765 Kv AC and 560 Kv DC. It features a full 197 ft. of working height and 1,000-lb. capacity from its standard 6.5' x 3' platform. Horizontal outreach is 72 ft., with 360° continuous turntable rotation and push-button outrigger deployment and automatic outrigger leveling, it can be quickly and easily set up to reach overhead work areas almost anywhere. Setup time from the setting of the jacks to full elevation is under 15 minutes.
The heavy-duty S-173 XDT is mounted on a 6x6 Peterbuilt chassis and offers a 173-ft. working height, 100-ft. horizontal outreach and a whopping 1,400-lb. capacity in its over 23-sq.-ft. standard platform. The model featured at ICUEE will showcase the latest in Bronto’s computerized operating and maintenance technologies and introduce enhanced remote data collection capabilities.
