Universal Atlantic Systems (UAS) has released a solution that provides outdoor protection to small and large equipment yards, commercial properties, and warehouses that have valuable assets stored outside.
With a marked increase in theft and vandalism of valuable equipment assets stored outdoors, it is imperative to have an advanced surveillance solution that can provide police dispatch with quality and actionable information. UAS’s smart cameras with video analytics and clear imaging in all weather conditions distinguish between the smallest of motion events – wind, animals, paper blowing through a yard, etc. – and an actual intruder.
Once an alarm is activated, the outdoor video solution records a clip of the intruder and is transmitted to professionals at UAS’s 24/7 monitoring center for verification. Once an intruder is verified, police are notified of a crime-in-progress, which normally results in a priority response. This increase in police response leads to more arrests and reduces or eliminates potential losses.
