Ergodyne has expanded its high-visibility gear lineup with new accessories designed to improve safety in low-light and high-risk environments.
The release comes as “struck-by” incidents remain a leading cause of workplace injury and death, accounting for more than 15,000 injuries each year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
New items include hi-vis arm and leg bands, safety vests, and universal reflective covers for straps and seat belts. While intended for construction, transportation and warehousing, Ergodyne notes the gear can also improve visibility for cyclists, runners and commuters.
“On the job or on a jog, these new accessories give people flexible options to boost visibility,” said Kris Wolle-Wayne, Ergodyne product manager.
The company also said women’s-fit hi-vis gear will be introduced later this year.
