RefrigiWear has expanded its cold-weather gear lineup with new high-visibility workwear designed for transportation and construction workers in milder winter conditions. The company unveiled the additions at the North American Association of Transportation Safety & Health Officials Conference.
The new Lightweight Hi-Vis Work Overalls feature a rugged outer shell and a heat-reflective lining to retain warmth without overheating in temperatures around 20°F and above. Reinforced knees and heel patches improve durability, while adjustable suspenders and curved knees allow for better movement. Zippered pockets and above-knee leg zippers add convenience on the job. Available in orange or lime, the overalls meet ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Class E and CSA Z96 Class 2, Level 2 visibility standards.
For warmer climates and indoor environments, RefrigiWear has also released Lightweight Work Pants. Made from a four-way stretch fabric, the pants are designed for comfort and flexibility during physically demanding tasks such as squatting, climbing and bending. They include multiple storage pockets, a hammer loop and reinforced knees. The pants are available in black, navy and khaki with waist sizes ranging from 30 to 48 inches.
The new products give transportation, construction and shop workers more options for safety and performance in environments where heavy insulated gear isn’t necessary.
