All 50 states and Washington D.C. are running programs and creating initiatives to help recruit, train, educate and develop the construction industry workforce to help solve the construction laborer shortage.
All 50 states and Washington D.C. are running programs and creating initiatives to help recruit, train, educate and develop the construction industry workforce to help solve the construction laborer shortage.

The construction industry has been trying to rebuild its workforce for years. While there are many nationwide programs working to recruit, educate and train new construction workers there are also many state and local programs creating their own efforts to fill their construction workforce needs.

Construction Craft Professional Demand through June 2018

Developing and refilling the construction workforce pipeline is a must. Here is a sampling of construction workforce development programs in each state, broken down by the West, Midwest, Pacific, South and Northeast regions.
