AGC presents the Project Manager Webinar Series for early-career construction project managers and those looking to make a move into such a role. Five webinars, each 90 minutes long, will be presented on: estimating and job costing; contract administration; project administration; risk management; and leadership.
Participants can elect to attend all five webinars or just sign up for one at a time. Registrants will also have the options to purchase the corresponding Participant's Manual at a disco from the full 16-hour program to use as a reference following the program at a discounted rate.

February 22 - Estimating and Costing for Project Managers
Estimating and Job Costing for Project Managers provides early-career construction project managers with a picture of their role in the estimating process. Participants will examine the importance of estimating and the role project partners have in achieving success through developing an understanding of basic estimating principles and how to estimate the cost of work by others.
March 10 - Contract Administration for Project Managers
Contract Administration for Project Managers provides early-career construction project managers a focus on risk management and the contract. Participants will gain an understanding of how contracts can help (or hinder) them in completing the project, specifically the legal issues surrounding killer clauses.
April 5 - Project Administration for Project Managers
Project Administration for Project Managers provides early-career construction project managers a broad overview of the role of project managers in achieving project success. Participants will gain an understanding of their role in project safety procedures, planning, scheduling and closeout.
April 26 - Risk Management for Project Managers
Risk Management for Project Managers provides early-career construction project managers a picture of their role in documentation and risk. Participants will gain an understanding of project documentation and the activities required to best manage risk to successfully manage a project
May 17 - Leadership for Project Managers
Leadership for Project Managers provides early-career construction project managers with the tools they need to manage a truly successful project. Leadership requires a commitment to understanding others, to building relationships and making decisions in the best interest of the project. Project managers need to be more than skilled technicians, they need to be able to successfully lead the team members on their projects.
This webinar series will provide participants with a valuable, yet condensed portion of AGC's Project Manager Development Program (PMDP). These webinars are not a replacement for the in-seat PMDP courses, but rather to supplement specific project management skills and provide an introduction to AGC's PMDP offering.
