Volvo Construction Equipment has announced two executive leadership appointments effective in early 2026.
Christian Hallbjörner will become head of finance and chief financial officer on Jan. 1, 2026. He succeeds Klara Eiritz, who will take on a new role outside Volvo CE. Hallbjörner previously served as senior vice president of finance and CFO for Volvo Financial Services and brings more than 28 years of experience in finance, business control and business development across the Volvo Group.
Malin Norman has been appointed head of people and culture, effective March 1, 2026. She will succeed Ann-Sofie Räftegård, who will transition to a new role as senior transformation lead at Volvo CE after more than six years in the position. Norman has held several roles within the Volvo Group and has served as head of people and culture technology at Volvo CE since 2021.
Both Hallbjörner and Norman will join the Volvo CE Executive Management Team. They will be based in Eskilstuna and report to Melker Jernberg, head of Volvo CE.
