Nemetschek Group has signed an agreement to acquire Heavy Construction Systems Specialists (HCSS), expanding its reach in the heavy civil and infrastructure construction market.
Based in Sugar Land, Texas, HCSS provides software used by more than 4,000 construction companies across North America, with a focus on heavy civil and infrastructure projects.
Following the acquisition, HCSS will be integrated into Nemetschek’s Build & Construct segment, which includes brands such as Bluebeam and GoCanvas. The addition is expected to strengthen the company’s software offerings across project planning, execution and field operations.
The move also positions Nemetschek to expand further into infrastructure and heavy civil construction, sectors seeing continued growth driven by aging assets, public investment and urbanization.
The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
