The Toro Company has named Edric Funk as its next president and CEO, effective Nov. 1, as part of the company's long-term succession plan.
Funk, who has served as president and chief operating officer since September 2025, succeeds Richard Olson, who will become executive chairman after serving as CEO since 2016. Funk also joins Toro's board of directors effective immediately.
A 30-year veteran of the company, Funk joined Toro in 1996 as a design engineer and has held leadership roles across engineering, product management, technology innovation and business operations. Most recently, he has overseen Toro's global businesses and supply chain operations as president and COO.
Olson will transition to executive chairman following a 40-year career with the company. During his tenure as CEO, Toro expanded through acquisitions, entered new infrastructure markets and increased investments in electrification, connected technologies and robotics.
