Apple Inc.'s revised plans for its nearly 3 million sq. ft. Cupertino, Calif., flying-saucer-like campus show drastic reductions in underground parking space, a change that could reduce costs.
Apple had planned two levels of underground parking with 2,174 spaces on each level. According to the drawings filed Nov. 14, the levels have been reduced to 1,140 spaces each, making up for the lost spots with more above-ground parking.
