This class will provide the background and hands-on experience necessary to make great countertops. You will learn how to produce a variety of finishes and applications. Placement techniques will include conventionally reinforced concrete (GFRC) techniques. Real world examples and demonstrations will be provided to help avoid common mistakes.

Instructor Dr. John Kevern is an internationally recognized expert in concrete materials. He currently manufactures concrete countertops and other concrete products for Studio Build, a local design-build architecture firm.
